Your Husker Connection

in Oklahoma!

The Oklahoma Cornhusker Club (OCC) meets regularly to celebrate University of Nebraska Athletics, particularly football. With nearly 200 family memberships, and chapters in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, the OCC is your alumni connection to the University of Nebraska! We host football Watch Parties in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, and have an annual Christmas Banquet in Tulsa featuring guest speakers from Nebraska football.

Annual membership dues are paid each calendar year in January and February.

A Lot Has Happened Huskerland in March!

Where to start ... ?

3/10/24 - Husker Women's Basketball falls to Iowa in OT in the conference Championship game.

3/12/24 - Men's Basketball coach Fred Hoiberg is named B1G Ten coach of the year. Keisei Tominaga and Reink Mast earn all-conference honors.

3/13/24 - AD Trev Alberts suddenly and unexpectedly jumped ship and became AD at Texas A&M. Woah!

3/14/24 - Long-time associate athletics director Dennis Leblanc is named Interim Athletic Director.

3/16/24 - Husker Men's Basketball loses to Illinois in the B1G Ten semi-finals, but positions themselves for an NCAA bid.

3/17/24 - Men's Basketball gets an 8 seed to face, of all teams, Texas A&M in the first round. Women's Basketball gets a 6 seed and will face, you guessed it, Texas A&M.

3/18/24 - Football Head Coach Matt Rhule talks about spring practice and goes into detail about his pride and commitment to Husker football.

3/19/24 - Men's Basketball Coach Fred Hoiberg receives a contract extension though 2028-29.

3/20/24 - Nebraska hires Troy Dannen to be the next Athletic Director. Women's Basketball Coach Amy Williams receives a contract extension through 2028-29. The University of Nebraska Board of Regents named University of Nebraska Medical Center Chancellor Dr. Jeffrey Gold their top pick for NU president to replace Ted Carter.

3/22/24 - Men's Basketball falls to Texas A&M 98-83. Women's Basketball defeats Texas A&M 61-59 to end the season.

3/23-24 - Husker Baseball wins its 7th game in a row moving to 17-5 on the season. Husker Softball has won 7 of its last 8 games to improve to 18-13 on the season. Women's Gymnastics places 7th at the B1G Ten Championships and await an NCAA bid. Husker Wrestling places 9th in the National Tournament and has 5 All-Americans.

3/24/24 - Women's Basketball falls to Oregon State 61-51 to end the season.

3/25/24 - For Football, spring drills begin!

3/26/24 - Men's Gymnastics named B1G Ten Co-Champions. The No. 5 Nebraska Cornhuskers were named Regular-Season Big Ten Champions for the first time in program history since entering the Big Ten in 2011 after taking the win against No. 7 Ohio State Buckeyes (418.200-414.150). Nebraska shares the conference champions title with Illinois, both earning a 3-1 record in the conference regular-season competition. This win for the Huskers ranks as a top-three overall team score in Nebraska program history (418.200), not far behind the top-two team scores, previously set back in 2017.
