Our special guest speaker is former Husker standout WB Clester Johnson.

Clester was a member of the 1994 and 1995 National Championship teams. As a Senior in 1995, he led the Huskers in receiving. Clester has been a frequent guest on the Big Red Cobcast and on 1620 The Zone with Gary Sharp and Damon Benning.

An All-State Quarterback in High School, Clester also played linebacker and was a multi-sport star, lettering in football, track and wrestling. After graduation, Clester remained in the Omaha area where his three sons have followed in his footsteps as standout wide receivers. An in-state Husker recruit himself, Clester has praised Coach Frost for placing greater emphasis on recruiting in-state talent than did Frost's predecessors.
