The Nebraska Cornhuskers (5-1, 2-1) have a short week as they travel to Minneapolis for a Friday night matchup with the Minnesota Golden Gophers (4-2, 2-1). The Gophers enter the game coming off a 27-20 come- from-behind victory at Purdue.
The Huskers have a statistical advantage in almost every category
and boast the #1 rated pass defense in the nation.
The Huskers seem to have found their running game to complement their passing game. Nebraska opened as a 5 point favorite for the 7:00 PM Friday game on FOX.
Both teams have a short week. The Huskers are on their second straight road game. I expect the stands in Minneapolis to have a significant Scarlett hue to them. Our fans have played a big part in firing up the team in every game this year.
The Oklahoma Cornhusker Club (OCC) Tulsa-area Watch Party is at Remingtons Sports Bar!
Husker seating begins at 6:30 PM.
The FOX telecast begins at 7:00 PM.
$1.00 per adult door charge.
OCC members receive tickets for door prize drawings.
Guests and Husker fans are always welcome!
We ask that everyone abide by the house rules at Remingtons Sports Bar:
- Absolutely no outside food or drink can be brought into Remingtons. Sadly, this also means we cannot bring in any red cinnamon flavored popcorn.
- There will be stanchions with retractable belt barriers around the bar area. No one under 21 can go past the barriers. We ask parents and all adults to help us by telling anyone under age 21 not to cross the barriers, even to get food, drinks or popcorn. Adults must retrieve food, beverages, and popcorn if needed. We have also asked that the water station be moved away from the end of the bar to a different area.
- Remingtons, the Marriott, and the Oklahoma Cornhusker Club reserve the right to ask anyone to leave the premises if they violate these rules.
- Parking is available in the lot directly North of Remingtons, facing 71st street. The lot is marked for Park and Pay, but Husker fans can park without paying.
Calendar-year Annual membership is $30 per family, which includes anyone under the age of 21 in the same household.
